Seriously. At the beginning, she was shown to be rather shallow and stuck-up, but in two different episodes, it is revealed that she loves comic books and many other boy things, and seems to go under stress when she's not the centre of attention. Both of these imply that her love for boy things is kept a secret because she didn't want anyone to think she was weird and not like her anymore, so she chooses to be the popular stuck-up girl because she is afraid of being alone.

Can I just point out that these two elements alone are major points for some brilliant character development, we could have had one of the best characters in NickToons history if the makers had developed further into these aspects and tried to give Trixie more of a backstory and character. But it never happened.

Later in the series, she became even more shallow, and eventually becoming just a background character with barely any dialogue or anything. Wanna know the kicker, the last episode she was in was called "Cosmo Rules" which aired in 2011. That means that Trixie has now been retired as a character, the literal worst way for a fictional character to go, not being killed off, not being moved to another series, just gone.

This is why Trixie Tang is my favourite character, not for the character she is but the character she would've been. I seriously cannot think of anyone else that had such potential for a great character, just to be ignored and eventually discarded. Can you imagine what the series would've been like if they furthered Trixie as a character and heck, even made her one of the main characters? 

I've actually been super tempted to include her as a character in my original comics as a main character, heck if Nickelodeon isn't going to use her or even acknowledge her anymore, I might as well.
