Phasmatius is one of the eight Lords of the Underworld who governs the south-west sector where he has built the ultimate prison for the most evil of spirits, The Spectral Spire. Phasmatius is arrogant, a perfectionist, and considers all beings who is not one of the other seven lords or the High Queen a much lesser being, a parasite no less. Being the one who governs all ghostly spirits in the Underworld, he has a wide verity of supernatural powers and enhanced physical strength, speed and durability. He is even capable of moulding spirits into other shapes such as balls, paper planes or even high ranked monsters to act as his bodyguards or assassins. 

Much like a ghost, he cannot be harmed by any living being in the realm of the living (aka earth and such) all forms of attacks and weaponry go right through him while he can harm them no problem, if he however gets touched by another ghost, he solidifies for a very brief amount of time making him vulnerable, he instantly solidifies in the Underworld, so anyone from the human world can harm him there, but his power multiplies by 4, making him even harder to fight.

Phasmatius however is the weakest of the eight Lords of the Underworld, but makes up for it for not only being the one with much longer experience in combat, but he is the only one who cannot die, should he ever get into the stage where he would die, he instantly resurrects himself against his own will at the cost of giving one random spirit their body back, he is also able to resurrect the other Lords should they die, but often chooses not to. But possibly his most haunting ability is not only a stronger immunity to ghost warding spells, but the fact that should he face a living being with immortality, he can REMOVE it from them all together, a gift from the High Queen of the Underworld since the beginning.

Being the arrogant and power hungry kind he is, his initial goal is to have the entire Underworld to himself, often using the human world's resources to aid him, but three thousand years ago, after taking control of an earthen continent, he was lured into a trap by powerful spell monks who forced him back into the Underworld and created a seal in the human world, preventing him from ever entering the human world until his seal is broken. 

Phasmatius was enraged by this, and sought revenge, but patiently bided his time until his seal would eventually break, however, recently when he was in a war with a neighbouring region, the Spectral Spire was damaged and one spirit escaped into the human world and sought a body for it to inhabit and take control of the world. Phasmatius feared his reputation would be stained and the High Queen's possible punishment, did everything he could to find this one spirit, but it disappeared, with no idea on where it went or what happened, the search was called off. Unbeknownst to him, the spirit had found a body, in the shape of a young blonde girl.
